A 50% rum from a distillery on Tokunoshima, Kagoshima
Made by Takaoka Jozo on Tokunoshima in the Amami Islands. At 50% it's strong, but the sweet aroma of brown sugar and tropical fruit comes through clearly. Great on the rocks, with soda or in rum cocktails. The 1.8L bottle suits bars as a house pour.
