Nissho Wainmu Kyuku Trading Co., Ltd. Taiwan Branch is the Taiwan branch of Wainmu Kyuku Trading LLC (headquarters: Yokohama, Japan), and is a specialized trading company that exports, sells, and promotes the brand of a variety of alcoholic beverages and beverages, primarily Japanese alcoholic beverages, to Taiwan. We do business with a wide range of customers, from high-end bars and restaurants to small eateries and retailers, and aim to establish Made in Japan products in the Taiwanese market and around the world.


Job description (sales position)
・BtoB sales focusing on sake, shochu, Japanese whiskey, gin, spirits, liqueurs, etc.
- Develop and serve a diverse range of customers, including high-end bars, restaurants, retailers, liquor stores, and small and medium-sized restaurants
・Proposal sales utilizing product knowledge, regular tasting events and seminars
・Market research and trend analysis, sales and marketing strategy planning
・Planning and implementing new product launches and various promotions
・Participate in alcohol exhibitions and industry networking events (occasionally have Japanese cultural collaborations or ACG-related events)



Job Description (Marketing Position)

・Planning and execution to enhance the brand value of Japanese alcoholic beverages (sake, shochu, whiskey, gin, spirits, liqueurs, etc.)
• Management and improvement of company social media and official online store
- Planning and updating product pages and brand introduction content
- Planning and execution of online sales strategies and promotions
• Trend research on alcoholic beverages, consumer needs, ACG and popular culture
- Understanding needs through consumer data analysis, surveys, social media monitoring, etc.
- Catch trends in the anime, games, and manga (ACG) industry and explore collaboration opportunities
• Promoting corporate branding strategies
- Creating a company/brand story and unifying the worldview of corporate websites/SNS
- Creative direction (design, copywriting, etc.)
• Strengthening collaboration with influencers/KOLs
- Planning and promotion in collaboration with KOLs, YouTubers, Vtubers, etc. who are active in the alcohol and culture fields
- Building new networks with influencers and media, negotiating and managing collaborations
• Taking on the challenge of licensee/licensor areas
- Planning and promotion of tie-ups with anime, manga and game IP (intellectual property) and brand collaboration products
- Turning our own brands and original content into IP (expanding the licensing business for our own products, characters, etc.)
- Support for licensing agreement negotiations and intellectual property management
• Overall design of promotional events
- Planning and running online and offline sales promotions, exhibitions and collaborative events
• Coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (sales, external partners, IP holders, etc.)
- Cross-departmental information sharing, provision of promotional tools and data
• Effectiveness measurement and reporting
- KPI design, campaign and collaboration performance analysis and reporting, improvement proposals
・Store operations and customer support

Application conditions
・University graduate or above
・[Sales position] 3+ years of experience in B2B alcohol sales (bartender experience and experience in spirits/whisky are welcome)
・Familiarity with the Japanese alcohol industry and Taiwanese market, experience in tastings and education is a plus
・Excellent communication skills and customer development skills, and the ability to deal with a diverse range of customers
・Basic Chinese and English skills, familiar with Office and digital tools
・Those who have expertise and a passion for Japanese sake culture
・Those who can be punctual and respect work discipline
・Ability to report, contact, and consult (horenso) effectively and accurately communicate progress and issues to superiors and teams
・An understanding of pop culture such as anime and Vtubers is welcome (but not required)

Fixed bonus (twice a year)
・Based on one month's basic salary in June and December each year, adjusted based on company performance and individual performance
*Requires at least 3 months of employment at the time of payment
Performance bonuses (incentives)
・Set KPIs (targets) every month and provide incentives of up to 30% of gross profits exceeding the KPIs.
*Payment and rate will be adjusted based on company performance and individual evaluation. If the target is not met or the evaluation is not submitted, no payment will be made.
・Payment every two months
Special Incentives
・Special incentives will be provided to individuals and teams when sales targets for designated products are achieved (only applicable to sales that have already been paid).
Profit distribution (divider)
After the fiscal year is closed, 15% of the net profit after tax will be distributed to all employees (taking into consideration position, years of service, KPI, contribution level, etc.), and paid in a lump sum by the end of June of the following year.
