The flagship daiginjo of Meiri's Fukushogun range from Mito

Named after Mito Komon, the famous "Vice-Shogun of the Realm". Slow, cold fermentation gives a delicate, fruity aroma and a clean palate. Ideal for celebrations or as a gift for sake lovers.

Food to go with it

JapaneseSashimi, tempura, simmered dishes

How we drink it

  • Chilled, around 10°C, in a small glass to start
  • Room temperature, where the rice sweetness reads clearly
  • Warmed to about 40°C. Do not overheat it
