Toki's bottle in the Fist of the North Star series. Softer and cleaner than the others in the range — a good choice if you're new to imo shochu.
How to enjoy it
- With hot water: pour the hot water first, then the shochu, 5:5. Mitsutake recommends water at about 70°C
- On the rocks: pour over ice and add a splash of room-temperature water to bring out the sweet-potato aroma
- With water: shochu first, then water, 5:5 — it mixes more evenly
- Tasting flight: line up two or three from the series and compare each character's aroma. The empty bottles look great on a shelf afterwards
