Sweet, bitter and sour in one — a Japanese tonic made at 1:6
A Japanese tonic syrup layering the kuromoji wood aroma over beet sugar and the long bitterness of quassia and bitter orange. Supervised by bartender Shuzo Nagumo. A base for non-alcoholic cocktails — or add just 5ml to adjust a drink's flavour.
How to enjoy it
- Fill a large glass with ice, add 15ml syrup and 20ml N/A Spirits, stir lightly, pour in 90ml chilled soda and stir once; garnish with Meyer lemon peel
- Keep to the ratio and anyone can make the same drink
- Add 5ml to soda, tea or juice for bitterness and aroma
- Ingredients: quassia and bitter orange extract, kuromoji and aburachan hydrosol, Meyer lemon juice, cane and beet sugar, citric acid, salt
- 200ml bottle (about 13 drinks) / 500ml pouch (about 33 drinks, for soda guns)
Added to an alcoholic drink, the glass is still alcoholic — it does not become non-alcoholic.
