The 2021 edition of Haruka, a "nouveau" umeshu made from that year's plums
Haruka is a limited edition of Meiri's Hyakunen Umeshu: Shirakaga plums harvested in June are bottled the same year, like a nouveau. Each year the label uses the kimono pattern worn by the plum ambassadors at the Mito Plum Festival. This is the 2021 bottle — collecting the different years' labels is part of the fun. Enjoy on the rocks or with soda.
