[About Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora Can]
This umeshu was newly developed around the idea of enjoying umeshu more freely.
It is a low-alcohol drink at 3%, made to be enjoyed alongside Usada Pekora's streams.
Two flavours were prepared during development, a lactic drink flavour and a honey ginger ale flavour, and Usada Pekora chose honey ginger ale.
The result is a gentle drink with a good balance of refreshing taste and body.
Lightly sweet with a little fizz and bite, it suits a break in the day.
We especially recommend it while watching a stream.
[How Usada Pekora and Hyakunen Umeshu met]
The connection between Usada Pekora and Meiri Shurui began with the stream "兔田小酒吧".
On a 2019 "兔田小酒吧" stream, Usada Pekora talked about Hyakunen Umeshu, and that is where it started.
Her frank, honest comments drew a big response, and Meiri Shurui wanted to turn that connection into a real product.
In November 2020 the collaboration "Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora ver." went on sale.
In February 2026 a new collaboration followed with "Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora Special".
This time, with the theme of enjoying umeshu more freely, Meiri Shurui explored new possibilities for Hyakunen Umeshu and released "Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora Can" in honey ginger ale flavour.

Following "Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora ver." and "Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora Special", the illustration is again by popular illustrator Ume Aoki.
To match the product theme, she drew Pekora in cute casual clothes, capturing the freedom and freshness of umeshu!

[About Hyakunen Umeshu]
Hyakunen Umeshu is Meiri Shurui's signature umeshu series, led by "Baika Hyakunen Umeshu", which took first place in Japan at the world's largest umeshu competition. Carefully chosen plums are aged slowly, and long ageing combined with skilled blending brings out rich sweetness, a clean finish and bright plum flavour.
With a wide range, the series keeps exploring the depth and possibilities of umeshu.
