Taiwanese whisky from the mountains of Nantou.

Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation (TTL) is a Taiwanese drinks maker whose products range from Taiwan Beer to Shaoxing wine and whisky. It has production sites across Taiwan, and the YUSHAN whiskies carried by WAIN99 are made at Nantou Distillery in Nantou County.

Nantou Distillery was originally a fruit wine plant that mainly made wine. It built a whisky distillery in 2008, and from the following year it could handle every step on site, from milling the malt through mashing, fermentation and distillation to cask ageing.

Yushan Taiwanese Single Malt Whisky – Bourbon Cask won bronze at the London Spirits Competition 2023, and Yushan Blended Malt Whisky won silver in 2024. The distillery has a large barrel-shaped tasting hall and is open to visitors.
