Kishu Roman 叶彗 春雨麗女ver. Umeshu

Umeshu made only with ume from its own orchard.

Sujimoto Farm is an ume grower in Minabe, Kishu, producing Nanko ume. The family has made umeboshi since the 1960s, and the business was founded in 1998. About 550 Nanko ume trees grow in its orchard of roughly 3 hectares.

In 2017 the farm obtained a production licence under the Kishu Minabe Umeshu Special Zone, and two years later it released its umeshu, Kishu Roman. It uses only Nanko ume from its own orchard, steeped in rice shochu, for a clean taste somewhat like white wine.

Kishu Roman won a gold medal at Kura Master 2023. WAIN99 carries the collaboration edition with the VTuber 叶彗.
