Shirogane Noel of hololive and Meiri Shurui have put their craft gin, Noel's Potion, into a can. It is an easy way to drink it, and it goes down well.

About the product

Noel's Potion is a craft gin developed by Shirogane Noel with Meiri Shurui. Noel's own views shaped it throughout. After a long run of trials and adjustments the team settled on ten botanicals, for a flavour meant to feel like a potion that gives the members of the Silver Knights their energy for the next day.

To make that gin easier to drink, it has been turned into a gin and tonic in a can.

How it came about

At the 2023 Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition (TWSC), Asia's largest spirits competition, Noel's Potion took a bronze. TWSC is the only competition in Japan where judges assess whiskies and spirits from around the world by taste alone; its aim is to promote good whisky and spirits and to build drinking culture for the future.

To put that bottle in more people's hands, the team chose one of the most popular cocktails, the gin and tonic, and canned it. Work started in June 2023. The can uses kabosu juice from Oita Prefecture in Kyushu, where Noel is from, which makes it fresher on the palate. Each can carries what Noel wanted to say to the members of the Silver Knights: here is your energy for tomorrow.
