A special edition made because "we want everyone to celebrate our bronze medal at IWC 2023!"
The toji (head brewer) put everything into this junmai daiginjo to recreate the previous season's sake that won bronze at IWC 2023.
The IWC 2023 bronze winner, Junmai Daiginjo Yukiyazuki S4 Favorite Celebration Model, is built entirely around Yukihana Lamy's own taste.

The idea was to analyse the flavours Lamy likes and express "a favourite taste you would want to keep drinking for the rest of your life".
As with the rest of the Yukiyazuki series, the label is by Abara Heiki, an illustrator Lamy admires.
It shows her at the award ceremony in a deep navy furisode kimono.

IWC 2023 award-winning sake: Yukiyazuki Junmai Daiginjo Favorite Celebration Model

A light, dry, clean-tasting junmai daiginjo.
Compared with Daiginjo Yukiyazuki, the IWC 2022 bronze winner, the grade changed from daiginjo to junmai daiginjo, the yeast from M-310 to No. 10, and the koji rice from Yamada Nishiki to Gohyakumangoku.

You can really taste the rice, which makes it a good match for meals or an evening glass. It is Lamy's favourite flavour, bottled.
With food, the brewery, Meiri Shurui, suggests crab miso, mackerel simmered in miso, salted fish, chilled tofu, caprese salad and dishes with garlic sauce.
